Welcome back to a new week at Trinity! Here are my updates for the week.
6th Religion
This week in religion we will be studying the early days of Jesus’ ministry. We will learn about His baptism and temptation, and then the calling of the first disciples. Toward the end of the week we will study the conversation He had with Nicodemus, the Pharisee. There is no memory verse this week.
6th Social Studies
The test on Topic 7- The Roman Republic will be on Friday, April 11th. We will begin reviewing in class on Monday.
7th Religion
This week we will have our final lesson on discipleship, on Gideon, and then we will transition to a series of lessons on prayer. We will look at the faith of several unlikely followers of Jesus, including the mission work of the Apostle Paul. There is no memory verse this week.
7th Social Studies
This week we will wrap up Topic 7 by studying the early days of the women’s reform movement, and then the culture of the mid 19th century. The test on Topic 7 will be Monday, April 14th.
8th Religion
On Monday, we will study the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. Then, the students will begin their Trimester 3 Church Design project. There is no memory verse this week.
8th Social Studies
On Monday, we will finish our study of World War II and the Holocaust. The test on Topic 14 will be on Friday, April 11th.
