Mrs. Uss’ Kindergarten class recently celebrated Thanksgiving by learning how to bake their own cranberry nut bread. Students had to carefully read the recipe and properly measure each ingredient before adding it to the mix. While some children cracked eggs and prepared the wet ingredients others were busy chopping cranberries and nuts to make a delicious filling. When the wet and dry ingredients were ready, the students mixed them together with the cranberries and nuts to create the final batter. Mrs. Uss and her parent volunteers then filled the loaf pans and took them to the oven for baking. Once the bread had cooled, each student wrapped up a loaf of their cranberry nut bread to take home and share with their families. As you can see from the photos below, each student was proud and excited to have the chance to share their delectable creations.
