Dear Parents,

We hope you all enjoyed the winter break and enjoyed some wonderful family time.  We missed the kids and can’t wait to see those smiling faces back in school!

This week we will be learning about the letter K for kindness.  The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter K.   In continuing to celebrate Black History Month, we will teach the children about Louis Armstrong.  Louis Armstrong was a trumpeter and vocalist who helped shape jazz into an art form and introduce it to the world.  The children will also continue working on their shape and number books.  We look forward to seeing the children in school tomorrow!

For religious instruction, we will teach the children how Jesus teaches about the birds and flowers.
