Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. This week is a normal week of testing. We also have Valentines Day and the 100th day of school this week! Please send in 1 package of the cookies of your choice for our 100 day cookie party! Any questions or concerns please let me know.
Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test is on Friday. Our new spelling words this week are: feed, keep, beak, seat, we, me, play, rain, other, because
Math – Our math test will be on Tuesday. We will move onto our next module 11 about comparing numbers.
ELA – Our reading test is on Thursday. This week we will learn about long e vowel teams. These vowel teams are /e/, /ea/, and /ee/. We will also be learning about prefixes, specifically -re (again), -pre (before), and -un (not). Our vocabulary words this week are: danger – at risk of getting hurt and partner – being with another person. Our HF words this week are: into, blue, or, small. other, because
Writing – This week we will be learning about WOW pictures and identifying nouns in our writing.
Social Studies – We will be talking about our BHM project. We will do a slides show and they will be assigned their person that they will research. This sheet will be due on the 25th which gives them all of winter break to complete it.
Religion – We will be reading and learning about the stories of “Solomon’s Prayer” and “Solomon Builds a Temple”.
