Hi Parents! It was wonderful meeting with you all during Friday’s conferences! Thank you so much for all of your kind words. Mrs. Maldonado and I are forever grateful for all of your support & trusting us with your children. We also hope you all enjoyed this long weekend! Also, with many other sicknesses still very present, please keep your child at home if they are not feeling their best for the safety of themselves and others.

We are taking a pause on our curriculum these next two weeks. We will continue to discuss different characteristics of animals and their habitats. We will continue to discuss the concept of hibernation this week as well as begin speaking about all things Penguins!! We will create shape penguins as a class craft. Stay tuned for sneak peek pictures on our Classdojo app!
During this short week, we will be learning the letter Oo, number 13 and continue to review shapes and colors. We will be reading penguin and bear books that go along with our topic of hibernation/migration. We will also take a look at the Arctic and the concept of water turning into ice/snow. There will also be a special surprise for the children next week. As we continue learning about the water freezing into ice/snow, we will be making our own ice cream in a bag! More details will be posted via our ClassDojo!
