Dear Parents,
We had a great first week back. We reviewed our class routines and introduced some new class rules. We reviewed letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and we made some beautiful winter crafts to decorate our classroom and the hallway.
This week we will learn about artic animals such as polar bears and penguins. We will read stories about artic animals, learn a penguin song, and read and work on a scholastic reader about artic animals. The children will also learn about Martin Lutheran King and his contribution to our history. For religion, the children will learn about Jesus in the temple. We will continue learning our January prayer: “A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Thank you, Lord, for feeding me. H, I, J, K, L, M, N, Thank you, Lord, for being my friend. Amen.”
