Happy 2025! We are in a new year and we are celebrating a new season in class this week; the season of winter. We will discuss the changes that the season of winter brings to our environment and read stories and create crafts inspired by “Snowmen.”
Nothing warms you up better on a cold winter’s day than hot chicken soup. We will enjoy the story, “Chicken Soup with Rice,” and a related cooking craft. We will make our own inspired pot of chicken soup to enjoy at snack time later on in the week.
This week, we also begin a new unit of study: Scholastic’s Theme 4, “All Kinds of Animals.” In conjunction with this theme, we will learn about letter Mm and number 11. Our Voyages religion lesson is “The Epiphany.” This week we also begin report card testing.
