Important Notes:
In observance of Veteran’s Day, school will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024. Thank you to all veterans who have served our country.
Parent Teacher Conferences are this Friday! Please be sure to sign up for a time slot if you have not done so already. I look forward to speaking with you all in regards to your child’s progress in second grade!
Please look out for a note that has been sent home about a monetary class collection which will help fund future holiday celebrations in our classroom and help provide snacks, drinks, games, and/or a craft. Thank you in advance!
The second grade, along with the kindergarteners and first graders walked to the Hicksville Fire House this past Friday. We enjoyed a tour of the firehouse and learned a great deal about our local volunteer firemen and all they do to keep our community safe from fires and other emergency situations. The children had many questions for Fireman Koopmann. We even got to try on a fire helmet!
Pioneer Basketball this week!
