Welcome to Mrs. Ryan’s second grade Class Notes!
Important Notes:
I’d like to thank Mrs. Yee for volunteering as our Class Parent for the school year! She will be acting as a liaison between our class and the PTFA. Thank you Mrs. Yee for your effort and time! Last Thursday she provided the class with yummy cupcakes and a drink for a special treat!
Please look out for a note that will be sent home soon about a monetary class collection which will help fund future holiday celebrations in our classroom and help provide snacks, drinks, games, and/or a craft. Thank you in advance!
Are you interested in visiting our classroom to share some fun and read a book to our class? If so, please let me know as soon as possible so we can set up a date! We’d love to have you!
LOOKING AHEAD:
We have a field trip! The second grade, along with the kindergarteners and first graders will be heading to the Hicksville Fire House this Friday for a tour of our local firehouse! We will leave shortly after announcements and arrive back no later than 11 am. Weather permitting, we’ll be walking. The classes will be bused if it rains. Please contact me if you are interested in joining us up at the firehouse!
Basketball and FAST this week!
Dear Lord,
Bless our school and keep us safe. Be with us as we travel each day. Help us to be aware of your love shown to us in the people all around us.
Amen
