Math 6

This week we will be having a quiz on multiplying and dividing fractions. There will be a quiz on this topic on Monday, 10/21.  We will then be working on a fraction recipe project on Tuesday.  Following the project we will begin reviewing for our fraction test, which will be on Friday, 10/25.  Please use the review packets given out on Wednesday to guide your studying.  These packets are also posted on the classroom.

Pre-Algebra

This week will focus on solving one and two step equations.  We will have a quiz on 1 and 2 step equations on Wednesday, 10/23.  The end of the week will focus on solving multi-step equations.

Algebra

 Last week we explored how to graph a line using a table, intercepts, slope intercept form and point slope form.  There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Monday, 10/21.  Following the quiz we will be learning how to write an equation of a line when given two points, exploring the relationship between parallel and perpendicular lines, as well as scatter plots, linear regression, and corelation coefficents.
