This week is a short week for us with school closed Monday, 10/14 and a field trip on Thursday, 10/17.
We will be having our first vocab quiz on Friday, October 18th.
The first unit of the book will also be due as homework. The students will each have a copy of the book to keep. They are to complete all activities in the unit EXCEPT writing, synonyms and antonyms. The quiz will be multiple choice and just contain definitions directly from the book. I am striving to have two units assigned per month. This will count as two homework grades and a quiz grade.
We are actively moving through the novels and everyone seems to be enjoying the books!
