The second grade is in need of a class parent or two to help as a liaison between our class and the PTFA for future school events. Please sign and return the note sent home last week. Thank you!
We will have our first MYSTERY READER next week! Are YOU interested in visiting our classroom to share some fun and read a book to our class? If so, please let me know as soon as possible so we can set up a date! We’d love to have you!
A new book order flier will be sent out at the end of the week and due next Friday Oct. 18. Please order online.

•Reading We will complete the chapter book read aloud Herbie Jones Sails into Second Grade ( reading for details, character traits, author’s purpose, and sequence of events will be explored further this week)

•Grammar simple sentences which include the subject and predicate
