Math 6

We are starting our last unit on Geometry.  We will be exploring how to find area, surface area, and volume of different shapes.  The students will be given two take home quizzes this week.  One, on finding area of irregular figures and the other on finding surface area and volume of prisms.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are starting our unit on functions.  We will be exploring domain and range as well.  We will have a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Thursday, 5/16.

Algebra

We have finished learning all of the curriculum needed for the Algebra 1 regents.  We will spend the remainder of the year preparing and reviewing for the regents.  Students will be getting a binder to help review and practice concepts needed for the regents on June 4th.

Honor Society Inductions:  Wednesday, 5/15 after chapel, 8:30 AM

Spring Concert:  Tuesday, May 14th 7:00 PM.  Please arrive by 6:30 PM.
