Important Notes
•Please refer to Mr. DeVries’ note that was sent home Friday for important information regarding the Christmas Show this Tuesday at 7pm all children will be participating in.
•”The Grinch,” Mr. Sandifer, visited us this past Friday as our most recent Mystery Reader and read us The Grinch by Dr. Seuss! We had so much fun with him! Thank you, Mr. Sandifer!
•Our second grade Christmas party will take place on Monday, December 18th. We invite the children to come to school in Christmas pajamas! We will celebrate Christmas with cookies and hot chocolate! They’ll be some fun games and we will be busy little elves making Christmas crafts too!
•We’ll be visited by someone “special” on Monday, Dec. 18th as well! Please send in wrapped books by this Friday, December 15th for Santa to deliver to your child at the party. Please be sure to place it in a bag marked with your child’s first/last name in order to keep it a secret!
•Please note that Christmas vacation will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 20th. School will resume next year on Tuesday, January 2, 2024!
•I know some parents are considering coming in to be a Mystery Reader…. I strongly encourage you to do so! We can arrange a day convenient for you, morning or afternoon! Please share some time with us for it is a lot of fun for the children. I guarantee that you will have fun too!
