Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing great. Please continue to check their green folders for any important notices or information. Please set time aside to have your child read for 10-15 minutes every night. Please bring in that secret book wrapped and in a bag that says main office on it next week! We have our Christmas Concert this Tuesday at 7:00. Students will begin in our classrooms. Any questions or concerns please let me know!
Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and their spelling test is on Friday. Please review those words every night so they can memorize them. Our new words this week are: make, take, came, game, gate, late, chin, graph, some, today
Math – Math books will go home Tuesday night to prepare for the test on Wednesday. We wont start a new module until after Christmas break.
ELA – We will be learning about long “a” and how words need that magic “e” at the end so the “a” can say its name. We will also be learning about contractions with “not” and about verbs! Our HF words this week are: away, now, some, today, way, why
Writing – We will be learning this week about story sequencing. We will discuss first, next, then, and last in a story. Students will get to write about a read aloud we do in class to practice what happens in the beginning middle and end.
