Math 6

This week we will be reviewing all of the concepts we learned in our fraction unit.  We will be having a test on Thursday, 11/2.  The test covers the following concepts: Greatest Common Factor, Least Common Multiplie, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, and solving fraction word problems.  Review packets will be going home on Tuesday.  Please use them to guide your studying.

Pre-Algebra

This week we will be learning how to solve multi-step equations and equations containing fractions.  The quiz on these types of equations will be on Friday, 11/3. Use the review sheet and equation packets to guide your studying.

Algebra

This week we will be learning about linear regression and how to graph absolute value equations.  There will be a quiz on Thursday, 11/2.  The quiz will cover the following topics:  graphing a line in slope intercept form (y = mx +b), writing an equation of a line given points, parallel and perpendicular lines, linear regression and graphing absolute value equations.  The unit test for this chapter will be next week, Tuesday, 11/7.
