Important Information
Tuesday is our Fall Party. If your family celebrates Halloween, I wish you a happy Halloween. There will be no homework on Tuesday.
In class, we are finishing up working on our Seasons of Gratitude file folder project. We are thinking of all the people, places, and things we are grateful for. When all the projects are complete, we will be hanging them in the hallway.
Academics
Math: This week we will continue to focusing on the Identity Property of Multiplication, the Zero Property of Multiplication, the Distributive Property and the Associative Property of Multiplication. We are also focusing on learning our multiplication facts, so please practice them with your child every day.

Grammar: We are learning about complex and run-on sentences.
Phonics: Our focus will be on short u, short e, and long a words and phonograms.
Religion: We are completing our Seasons of Gratitude projects.
Science: In this lesson, students investigate the patterns of motion exhibited by a trapeze. In the activity, Trapeze Tester, students build a model trapeze. They make observations and take measurements of the motion of that model and use that data to predict the motion of a real trapeze.
