Monday: No School (Columbus Day)
This week the classes will be beginning new novels!! I am very excited to be introducing the students to new literature that I handpicked for us to read!
8th grade will be reading Refugee by Alan Gratz
7th grade will be reading Restart by Gordon Korman
6th grade will be reading Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
All reading will take place in class, since I have one set of books. At the end of each chapter, there will be reading comprehension questions for the students to answer nightly. They can begin in class and finish for homework. These will all be submitted and graded.
If available, students can get a copy from Libby or Kindle or their local library if they would like a book at home to assist with the questions.
