Welcome October ?!
I hope you enjoyed the weekend. We have yet another fun week ahead!
The new month begins with owls, the letter Aa, the color brown and rectangles.
I would like to start having the children bring in a picture or an item that starts with the letter of the week (letter A this week). So they can share with each other different items that begin with that letter. So the children who do not come on Fridays, they will bring in their item on Thursday and the other children will bring it in on Friday. Please have them send in something this week! I will post a reminder on DoJo.
For Jesus time, over the next few weeks we will be learning about creation. This week we will focus on how God created the light/darkness and the sky.
Please have your child send back the library book they took out. Miss Punam and I have taken some of the children’s books out already and have them in the classroom. If your child does not send it back, they can’t take out another book.
Special Days:
Monday Oct.2: picture day.. children that don’t usually come on Mondays are invited to come. They will be dismissed at 11:45
Wednesday Oct 4: Library
No School on Oct. 9 for Indigenous People Day
