We have a little over a week left for our Penny Wars for Farmingdale. The students have been donating change which is wonderful. Keep up the good work!
Life Science: This week in class we will be learning about the necessities for life. We also will be researching an organism to learn about what necessities they need. The 2.1 quiz is on Wednesday.
Living Environment: The chapter 3 quiz will be on Wednesday. This week in class we will be continuing with ecology learning about niches and biomes. We also will be learning about surface tension and adhesion in lab this week.
Physical Science: This week in class we will be learning all about what matter is and its physical properties. There will be a quiz Thursday on 2.1. A fun activity we will be doing with week is learning all about water displacement using a graduated cylinder.
Earth Science: This week in class we begin learning about minerals and how they are identified. There will be a quiz Friday on 3.1/3.2. The students this week will also be researching a mineral to learn about its characteristics and creating a flyer with the information they find.
7 Math: This week we will be reviewing for a test on rational numbers. There will be a rational numbers quiz on Tuesday. The unit 1 test will be on Thursday.
