“Don’t just fly, soar!” – Walt Disney

Important Information

In class, we have finished reading Judy Moody was in a Mood. The students have enjoyed hearing about Judy’s antics. We celebrated our read aloud by presenting our own collages (just like Judy). The Me Collage projects came out beautifully. I’m so proud of the effort the students put into making them!

Picture Day is Monday. Students are to wear their uniforms for pictures.

As previously mentioned, Ryan and Sumner’s moms have volunteered to be our class parents this year.  Last week, I sent home a notice asking for information and $10 for our class parties. Please make sure the form gets back to me by Tuesday, October 10th.

Instrument lessons have started.  Please make sure your child checks the schedule. I believe that the schedule changes each week, so please look for the schedule, and make note of the day your child has lessons. You can contact Ms. Philbin or Mr. Stainkamp if you have any questions.

Scholastic Book orders are due on Wednesday, October 11th. You can order online at  Scholastic.com/ReadingClub
