Our third full week this week…..
Religion: We will finish exploring our God as a Trinity.
Reading: We will continue reading Wonder with quizzes and cloze activities. Test upon completion. We have been discussing habits a good reader has. There will be Weekkly Reading Homework this week. Please be sure your student is reading 15 minutes each night and completes a writing choice for every 15 minutes read. Please sign the chart on the back of the Weekly Reading HW paper and have your student hand in on Friday.
Vocabulary: Complete Unit 2 text
Grammar: text
Writing: Journals and parts of a well written paragraph.
Science: We will be discussing harmful sunrays and how to keep animals safe while We spend time in the STEAM lab.
SS: Chapter 1: We will complete lesson 1 and begin lesson two. Our totem pole project will go home on Tues. and is due Oct. 6.
Directions will be gone over in classbut feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
Math: Division: We are not completing module 2 in the text. We will complete lessons in class that touch the topics and then continue on to module three. Quiz and test will be given at the end of module three.
Picture day:Oct. 2: Students wear uniforms
We welcomed a new student this week. Your students were kind and treated him as if he has been with us from the first day. It was great.
Thank you to those who were able to make it to Back to School Night. I anticipate a great year.
Please be sure your student brings a charged up chromebook each day. Check assignment pad for homework.
This week I have been thinking about Psalm 71:23 “I will shout for joy when I sing praises to you. You have saved me.”
Praising God is an important part of our relationship with Him. I am grateful to come to work and be able to praise God and to share this with students. Just something to think aobut.
