Math 6

This week we are starting our next chapter on Rational Numbers.  We will be exploring how to interpret rational numbers, their opposites and absolute values. We will also be comparing, ordering, and classifying rational numbers.  We will be working on a rational number project that will count as a quiz grade on Thursday and Friday.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are exploring how to simplify non-perfect square roots and how to solve squared and cubed root equations.  There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Friday, 9/22. 

Algebra

This week we are exploring how to solve consective integer problems and how to transform literal equations.  We will have our first test on Thursday, 9/21 on solving different kinds of equations.
