All classes will be completing Final Exam Practice tests.
Our final is on Monday, June 12th in the am.
The test for all grades will consist of:
- 30 multiple choice vocabulary words (students have the words to define and study)
- 10 grammar questions pertaining to information they should know such as capitalization and commas
- 30 matching ELA terms (match the word to the definition, they have the words to define and study)
- 3 reading comprehension passages, including a poem
- 1 essay
Over the course of the next week the students and I will be reviewing the essay format (which is the NYS format) and practicing reading comprehension passages (also from NYS).
