Last week we enjoyed learning about all the things that start with letter Bb. This week we will explore letter Oo. This is the final letter of the alphabet that we will be exploring together in class.
O is for ocean. We will discover more about the creatures that live in the ocean. We will also enjoy many stories about the sea including, “Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister. In conjunction with the story of the rainbow fish, we will discuss the qualities that make for good friendships. This week we will get to explore the life cycle of a fish, create fish and octopus crafts and measure fish using unifix cubes. Our religion lesson this week is, “God creates animals” from Faith Alive.
Friday is our annual ECC Picnic in the Park at Theodore Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay. Please join us for some family games and fun in the park!
