Welcome to May! Only 6 more weeks until Summer vacation! We had a very rainy weekend which is perfect for this week’s Big Day topic of “Weather”. We will read What Will the Weather be like Today?, and Weather. Our vocabulary words will be: clouds, cloudy, rainy, sunny, weather, and windy.
For math we will finish up our counting by 10’s book, and we will continue to review simple addition.
In Jesus time we will learn about Timothy, and we will continue to practice our closing program songs.
Since we have finished the individual letters of the alphabet we will begin review of the letters and their sounds.
Our sight words this week are one, two, and three.
We will also be working this week on a very special Mother’s Day gift.
Friday is Cinco de Mayo so we will have a little celebration of chips and dips and we will make a maraca craft.
