This week all classes will work on Vocabulary Unit 12. Words will be discussed in class and then homework will be nightly assignments to complete with a test on Friday.
We will be continuing our poetry unit with a focus on “Theme”.
6th and 7th grade will read “Carpe Diem, You Said” and 8th grade will focus on “Harlem”.
Students in all classes will then write an original poem working with a partner to describe an emotion.
