Last week we learned about frogs and enjoyed some fantastic Easter games and an egg hunt. This week we will learn more about the Easter holiday and experience some exciting Easter traditions. Jesus Time will discuss the Bible stories, “Jesus died” and “Jesus is alive” from Faith Alive. In addition, we will read many books about Easter fun including, “How To Track An Easter Bunny” and share our own stories of our families’ Easter traditions. Our math lesson this week is sorting and counting eggs. We will match dots on the bottom of plastic Easter eggs to the corresponding plastic egg top with the correct number on it. Our science experiment this week will involve dying Easter eggs a variety of colors using natural materials like beets, red cabbage and turmeric. Art projects include DIY Easter cards, sponge paint / collage Easter baskets and Easter bunny crafts. On Wednesday, we will decorate our own Easter basket cupcakes to enjoy as a special Easter food craft. It should be a short, but fun filled week!
Trinity will be closed for spring break from Thursday, April 6 through Friday, April 14. Please enjoy a happy Easter and a relaxing spring break with your families!!!
