This Week in Art
The First Grade will enjoy a lesson on the fantastic stabile art of artist Alexander Calder. They will absolutely love the video of Calder performing his Circus at the Whitney Museum using all of his mobile creations. Second Grade will finish up coloring in their Turtle Primary and Secondary Color Wheels.
Our Fourth graders will finish up their unit on color theory with the completion of their Complementary Rip and Paste Collage project.
The Seventh graders will work on their Word Art construction paper collages. Finally, the Eighth Grade will start using chalk pastels to color in their large flower drawings inspired by artist Georgia OKeeffe.
