Hello Parents! Saturday was a bit gloomy but Sunday has been gorgeous! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Please continue to read our ClassDojo as there are important dates and reminders coming up!
Important Dates and Reminders:
- Pre-K Easter Programs (3/30) – ECC 5’s program will be held on Thursday, 3/30 from 10:30am-11:50am. Two adults will be permitted for each child. Please RSVP to me by March 27th.
- Easter Break begins Thursday, 4/6 – Friday, 4/14.
We are finishing Theme 6 “Growing Up Healthy” and starting our last unit 4 “Staying Safe”. BIG Idea: I know what to do to be safe. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about their bodies and how to take care of themselves. Social-Emotional Focus: Self-Awareness. The theme vocabulary words include: accident, caution, danger, emergency, harm, injury and safety. Math vocabulary words include: divide, equal and share.
We will be learning the letter Ww, continuing to review numbers 1-20, shapes, colors, and recap our week in our weekly journals. We will be reading the books “Always Be Safe”, “How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon?”, “Please Play Safe!” and “Science Tools!”. We will continue to work on our Easter crafts and prepare for our Easter program on Thursday!
For Jesus Time, Mrs. Gonzalez will discuss the story of how the children praise Jesus. We will also continue to about Lent and discuss Palm Sunday coming up on this upcoming Sunday! We will sing “Hosanna” and create a Palm leaf in honor of Palm Sunday.

Library: Thursday from 11:25 – 11:55
Computers: Friday from 10:45 – 11:15
