Important Information

Permission slips for our first field trip were being sent home two weeks ago. We are going to see The Wizard of Oz on Friday, April 21st.  Please make sure that your child returns the slip with the $19 cash by Tuesday March 28th.

Information on our “Stuffed” Animal Reports went home last week. Please note that the Parent/Guardian Signature page is due back to school by Tuesday, March 28th. The actual “Stuffed” Animal Report and Student Self-Assessment is due Tuesday, April 25th.

There is a change of plans with our ELA testing.  We will have our spelling test on Wednesday and our Reading and vocabulary tests next week.

Please make sure that your child brings a water bottle to school everyday.

All instruments need to come to school on lesson days and on Thursdays (band rehearsal day). Please check your student’s email for the current schedule.

Academics

Math: We have been learning about perimeter and area. We are having our module test on Tuesday. Our next module is on time.

Social Studies: This week we will learn about American heroes. We will focus on Anne Hutchinson, Abraham Lincoln, Clara Barton, and Harriet Tubman.

Science: We are learning about how seeds disperse and the plant’s life cycle.

Religion: This week we are focusing on what happening during the days leading up to Jesus dying on the cross and then rising on Easter Sunday.
