Dear Parents,
This past week, we decorated the upstairs hallway with “kindness hearts.” When one of the children did something kind for their friends or teachers, we posted a kindness heart on the wall. Every child in our class showed some form of kindness to their peers, how wonderful this was to see. This past week, we also learned about mail carriers and how they do their job.
This week we will learn about the day in the life of a dentist and how important dental health is. The children will do a fun, egg cleaning science experiment. We will discuss how important it is to clean our teeth and also talk about food and nutrition.
We will learn how to recognize the letter Qq and the sound that it makes. We will also come up with words that start with that letter.
