Hello Parents,
This past week, we learned all about polar bears and arctic foxes. We made some fun arctic animal crafts that we used to decorate our classroom. We also discussed the Chinese New Year and made a lantern to celebrate the “Year of the Rabbit.”
Next week we will begin learning about penguins and other animals from the South Pole. We will also make homemade ice cream and enjoy it as a snack when it’s ready.
For religious instruction we will learn how Jesus became separated from his parents while visiting the temple in Jerusalem at age twelve and was inadvertently left behind. Upon returning to Jerusalem three days later, his worried parents found him at the temple listening to the teachers and amazing those around him with his understanding.
