Hello to my wonderful families!

We have another exciting week ahead!

This week we will be learning about the South Pole and the animals that live there.

Did you know that Emperor Penguins can grow up to 4ft 3in? We will be seeing how we measure up to an emperor. For science we will be discussing how polar animals stay warm in the freezing cold. We will be making our own “blubber” to see if we can with stand the icy temps.

We will be reviewing all of our letters we’ve learned this far.

I have the children’s library books in our classroom.

This week is spirit week, please check our class dojo for the theme of the day. Monday is wear your pajamas to school and Wednesday is heritage day. Please let me know if you are making a special food to share with the class.

We will continue using the bikes in the MPR. Thanks to all for sending in the helmets the children are having so much fun.

Friday January 27 is parent/teacher conferences so if you haven’t yet please let me know what time works for you. The schedule is on our class dojo. Remember there is no school that day for the ECC children.Picture retakes are also this day.

It’s going to be a great week! Miss Punam and I are looking forward to seeing you all on Friday for conferences.

Enjoy your weekend!
