Happy Spirit Week, everyone! Remember, each day is a special dress-up day. The students all look great in their pajamas and I am looking forward to seeing the book characters tomorrow. Wednesday everyone should dress up, Thursday is sports jersey day, and Friday 8th grade should wear red (our assigned class color).
8th Social Studies
This week the 8th grade is finishing chapter 16, and will have their test on Reconstruction next Tuesday, October 29th. I will hand out the study guide later this week, and you can also find it here.
7th Social Studies
The 7th grade will have their chapter 2 test tomorrow. We will then begin studying the first English colonies of America. The students will also work on putting together their own imaginary colonies, to compare those to the actual English colonies.
8AA Religion
This week we will continue to present the Tough Times Toolkit projects, and then we will continue our study of Genesis. The memory verse for this week is 1 Corinthians 1:26-27, which can be found at the bottom of page 27 in the student workbook.
