Pre- Algebra

This week we starting a new chapter on properties of exponents.  Students will be working on an exponent poster project in school that will count as a quiz grade.  At the end of the week, we will begin to explore how to write large and small numbers using scientific notation.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.   

Algebra

We have our first unit test on equations on Monday, 9/26.   The rest of the week will focus on inequalites.  We will be solving 1 step, 2 step, and multi-step inequalities and how to graph them on a number line.  We will also be exploring how to apply these skills to word problems.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.
