Pre- Algebra

This week we are starting our first chapter on number systems.  We are reviewing how to convert fractions to decimals, decimals to fractions, and how to classify numbers.  We will explore rational and irrational numbers, as well as exploring square roots.  We are having our first quiz on Thursday, 9/15 on the above mentioned topics.  Use your review sheet to guide your studying.

Algebra

This week we are starting our first chapter on solving linear equations.  We will be covering 2-step equations, multi-step equations, and equations with variable on both sides of the equal sign.  There will be a quiz on Friday, 9/16.
