This week we begin our last unit in our Big Day Pre-K Curriculum called Moving On. Our topic this week will be “Going New Places”. Our vocabulary words will be: travel, trip, and visit. We will read In Our Country, We’re Going on a Lion Hunt, Can You Say Peace?, and You and Me Together.
We will begin this week reviewing the letters and their sounds as we have finished learning a letter per week. We will also introduce sight words this week beginning with the words “A” and “I”.
For Jesus time this week we will learn about Timothy and we will continue to practice our songs for our closing program.
For math we will review positional words with the topic “Where is it?”
Hopefully this week we will receive our caterpillars in the mail and we will get to watch the metamorphosis of caterpillar to butterfly. We will learn the life cycle of the butterfly with the words: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and adult (butterfly).
