Math- Grade 6

This week the students are starting a new chapter on Statistics.  We will be exploring mean, median, mode, range, and various quartiles.  We will be learning how to create box and whisker plots.  They will then display the data through graphs and charts.

Due to Terra Nova Testing we do not have any quizzes this week.

Religion- Grade 6

This week we are going to be starting a new unit on Moses. We will also be continuing our preparation for Holy Communion.

Memory Quizzes

Religion Test- Tuesday, 10/15 -A study guide was sent home on Wednesday, 10/9.

Due to Terra Nova testing, we will not be having a memory quiz this week.

 

Math- Grade 8

This week we are continuing with our chapter on Numerical Roots and Radicals.  We have been working on how to simplify radical expressions both with and without variables.
