Happy Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather. I’m excited to get the kids outside to play.
This week is all about transportation. We will be learning about things that help us move like our feet, animals, cars, trucks and bikes. I know this is a unit many of the kids will enjoy! We will also incorporate some STEM activities like building bridges and racing cars.
We will be reading A Ride For Duck, Franklin Rides a Bike, I Went Walking and Clip-Clop Horse. We will continue talking about the month of March and talk about how March comes in like a lion but ends like a lamb because spring is almost here. We will finish our Scholastic My Big Day reader titled Do You Hear The Weather.
We will be practicing for our Special Person’s Day which will be in the beginning of April. Details will follow shortly about this amazing event! For Jesus time we will talk about some miracles that Jesus did such as Jesus stops a storm and Jesus feeds 5,000. We will also be learning a new snacktime prayer and a new Jesus song.
Upcoming Important Dates:
March 16 – ECC Green Day (ECC3 wears green)
March 18 – No School for ECC (Professional Development Day for teachers)
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me through ClassDojo or via email [email protected]. I wish everyone a happy and safe week.
