We all had a great time at White Post Farm last Friday. We had a beautiful day to feed the animals, take a hayride , pick a pumpkin and play on the playground. We are making a favorite farm animal picture graph. Please look  outside the nursery classrooms to see what is the favorite!

This week we are continuing with our  color unit. We learn a poem for each color. This Wednesday and Thursday it will be BLUE DAY!  The teachers and students  will wear blue! We will read Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey and bake our very own blueberry muffins. Yum!

On Friday, October 11th, the Hicksville fire dept. will bring their  fire truck to our school for a visit with the nursery students. We will learn about fire safety.

During Jesus time we are talking about creation and will be making a creation coloring book. We love to sing Jesus songs, such as,  The B-I-B-L-E, My God is so Great, Jesus’ Love is Bubbling Over and Jesus Loves the Little Children.

Next week is Green Week.
