December book projects are due on Wednesday, Jan. 5. There is no January book this month because we are reading novels as a class.
We will be working on Vocabulary Unit 7 this week. Much of the homework is vocabulary.
Grade 6: We will review the three types of verbs and verb phrases. The sixth graders will begin our January book- The Watsons Go to Birmingham this week.
Grade 7: Students in seventh grade will review verbs. We are going to start reading the novel, Fever.
Grade 8: The eighth graders are going to review verbs. We are going to read a short story- “Stop the Sun.” The class will study our involvement in Vietnam. This will help us understand the novel we are reading in January- Inside Out and Back Again.
7th Grade Religion: Religion class will work on unit 3 in our workbooks. We will have a memory quiz on Thursday. See the Google classroom for the verses.
