Earth Science: The quiz on 3.3 will be on Thursday 11/4. This week we will be learning about the formation of mining,how minerals are used, and how to identify minerals by doing a lab in class. In class we also will be working on the review sheet for Chapter 3. The test on Chapter 3 will be on Tuesday 11/9.
Physical Science: The quiz on 3.3 will be on Tuesday. The test on Chapter 3 will be on Friday. This week we will be working on a poster learning all about the changes of state. We also will be doing a lab learning about how ice changes and how the particles move going from a solid to a liquid.
Life Science: The test on Chapter 3 will be on Tuesday. In class this week we will be learning all about the compound light microscope. We also will be learning how to create a wet mount slide and how to find a specimen when using the microscope.
Living Environment: The quiz on Chapter 7 will be on Tuesday. This week we will talk about the process of photosynthesis. We also will be working on a project pertaining to cell organelles and their functions. The quiz on Chapter 8 will be on Monday 11/8.
