Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling-The words for this week are: can, had, cat, ran, an, bad. The “R” book words that will be on the spelling test are: away, call, come, said. The children will write their 10 spelling words 3x each for homework by Wednesday. The spelling test will be on Friday.
Phonics- -ck, /a/
Language Arts- complete sentences
Reading: We will read the story Jack and the Wolf. The children will read it again at home. They will compare Jack and the Wolf to The Three Little pigs (in their hard covered reading books). There will be a Reading test on Friday.
Math- Test Tuesday on Chapter 2-subtraction
Practice test on Monday
Religion- Daily devotions and Bible stories from religion book 2
Social Studies- Our Government

Our Star of the Week is Kendi! We are looking forward to learning all about her!
Ask your child if they are in need of any school supplies (pencils, glue, crayons, erasers) and send them in as soon as possible.
Please remember to check your child’s folder each night and remove the papers. Also, check and initial their homework (including their “S” book).
