Happy Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying the taste of fall weather. As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
This is another short week for us as there is no school on Friday due to professional development for the teachers. We will use this week to review the letters and numbers we have learned so far and finish up our first topic in the Orchard Harvest theme. The numbers to be reviewed are 1, 2 and 3 and the letters are H, F, T and E. We will review squares, circles, blue and red. We did not finish our tree shakers last week so we will work on them this week.
We have been busy working on exciting fall crafts and there are some more in the pipeline. We will paint to make ghosts and explore different textures as we make suncatchers. For Jesus time, we will continue singing the songs we’ve learned so far. I love hearing the children sing the songs when they are playing and I hope they sing them at home for you as well.
Picture day forms were sent home last week. Please fill the form out and return it to school on or before picture day in order to take your picture. Please remember that your child is coming to school on Thursday at 12:30pm to take pictures and should be done by 12:45pm.
A new fundraiser is starting for ECC and was sent home last week. Thank you in advance for your support on the Meadow Farms Fundraiser. We have some fun activities planned for Spirit Week. I hope everyone will participate.
