Happy Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying the day off and the beautiful crisp fall weather outside. As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
This week we will continue talking about the fall season and we will go on a nature walk around our school to see the beautiful leaves that are starting to change color. We didn’t get to sit outside for story time last week but with beautiful weather ahead, we will sit outside and enjoy the crisp air as we talk about the changing season.
We will finish up some fall crafts that we started last week to decorate our classroom with. We will also continue to talk about fire prevention and the importance of fire safety. We will also talk about the color red and make a fire painting (we will be painting on Thursday). We will reread Pete the Cat: Firefighter and Clifford the Firehouse Dog.
For Jesus time, we will continue to learn the snack prayer and the Christian songs that we’ve been learning so far. I will introduce “My God is so Big” to the students this week.
