Math: We are continuing to learn about perimeter and area. We will have a quiz on Tuesday.
ELA: We have finished our Journeys Reading Textbook. We will be reading from the online magazine, however we will not be having any more reading comprehension tests. In grammar, we are working on abbreviations this week. Our spelling words have a VCCV pattern. They are person, helmet, until, carpet, Monday, enjoy, forget, problem, Sunday, garden, order, mistake, umpire, herself, expect, and wisdom. For the remainder of the year, we will only have 16 words.
Science we are studying the water cycle this week.
Social Studies We have finished our unit on South Africa. We are going to take some time to review continents and states.
