Math- Grade 6

This week the students are starting a new chapter on Statistics.  We will be exploring mean, median, mode, range, and various quartiles.  The students will then display the data through plots, graphs, and charts.

This week the students are going to be finishing up our chapter on 2D Geometry.  The following topics will be covered in this unit: translations, rotations, reflections, dilations, symmetry, congruence, similar shapes, and pairs of angles.
