“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller
In class, we are working on reports about women who inspire us. The children have been reading books and taking notes. Next, we will be completing a graphic organizer, and we will present the reports to our classmate.
This Wednesday is St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone should wear green as we celebrate St. Patrick spreading Christianity.
Math
I will not be counting last week’s math test. Many of the students did not do as well as I expected. Instead, I am taking time each day to review what was covered in Chapter 8, as we are moving forward in Chapter 9. I have also encouraged the children to use fraction strips from the following website: toytheater.com/fraction-strips
Additionally we are reviewing our math facts using Xtramath and prodigygames.
