It was so nice to the chance to talk to the 4th grade families on Thursday.  I’m grateful to the students for lifting me up each day, and I’m grateful to the families for your continued support.  Wishing you all a blessed and safe Thanksgiving holiday weekend!  IN PERSON LEARNERS: Please be sure your Chrome book is fully charged each morning and have your headphones in school. REMOTE LEARNERS: Be sure that tests are scanned and submitted the same day that you take them.

WEEK: November 23-27

We have a lighter academic load with this short week.  We will be finishing our Social Studies Chapter 4 lessons so a test will be announced for next week.  This week there will be a class Spelling Bee on Tuesday; we will be planning a Thanksgiving dinner menu and students will write their own prayers; we will be playing some multiplication math games; and the big excitement of the week will be our Thanksgiving play, “The Runaway Turkeys.”

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Our Thanksgiving “Feast with Friends” is Wednesday at 12:00.  All students will eat together, remote students on Zoom and in person students in the classroom.  If you have any questions about meal arrangements, please call the school office.
  • Mr. Stainkamp has graciously agreed to record our Thanksgiving play, “The Runaway Turkeys” and it will be posted on Google classroom Wednesday afternoon for the students to share with their families.
  • There is no school for students on Thursday, 11/26 an Friday, 11/27.  Happy Thanksgiving!
